Temporary fix of leaking tone hole on alto flute using plumbers tape

I am recently received a gorgeous new fully silver alto flute (head, body and foot) from China. It plays beautifully. However, one of the tone holes is leaking – perhaps knocked during transit.

Following some advice on Youtube, I have made temporary fix until I can get the flute serviced using plumber’s tape (the very thin tape that is used by plumbers to wrap around pipe ends to get tight fit. It works wonderfully!
